Setting up your chaircircles profile
Welcome to chaircircles! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to take before publishing your first group – setting up your profile. You can complete your profile in just three easy steps. However, please note that only one step, setting up your locations, is mandatory to publish your first group. The second step, setting up your availability, and the third, setting up your questions, are optional and can be completed later as you continue your journey.
Step 1: Set Up your Locations
Locations are where you plan to run your group sessions. You can add both physical and virtual locations to your profile, which can later be used when creating your groups. All you need to do is provide a label (e.g., “My Office” or “Google Meet”) and an address or URL. If you have a Zoom account, you can connect it to chaircircles, and our integration will handle all the scheduling for you. For more details see our Zoom Integration guide.
Step 3: Set Up your Availability
You can publish a group without setting your availability. However, if you’d like to offer 15-minute consultation sessions with applicants, you’ll need to set up your availability. This allows ChairCircles to display time slots that align with your schedule, and applicants can choose from the available options. Later on, if your plans change for a given day, you can easily delete or adjust your availability using the calendar view.
Step 2: Set Up your Questions
Optionally, you can add pre-screening questionnaires to your groups to collect important information from applicants in advance, helping you save time by evaluating whether they are a good fit. To add questionnaires to your groups, you first need to create the questions, which can be done from your profile page. There are 7 question types you can choose from: Long Text, Short Text, Yes/No, Number, Single Choice, Multi Choice, and Consent. When creating the questionnaire, you’ll also have the option to sort the questions in any order and mark them as required if needed.
